Our Team

Dr. Poomporn was a Thai Royal Government Sponsorship student, graduated with Doctor of Business Administration degree in Management Science from The University of Strathclyde, the United Kingdom. After his graduation in 2006, he started working as a Public Development Officer with the Office of Public Development Commission (OPDC). His works involved with innovation in public sector, e-government, and a formation of strategic directions for governmental reforms. Working with OPDC, he was also assigned to be a secretary member to the Minister of the Prime Minister Office.

In 2009, he started his academic career with College of Innovation, Thammasat University, where he provided lectures on risk, system thinking, new product development creativity and innovation management. Apart form teaching responsibilities, Dr. Poomporn was held several management positions including Associate Dean, Director of Innovative Consulting Center and Director of Technology Management Program. Regarding to his academic activities, Dr. Poomporn has consecutively been an organizing committee for a number of leading international academic conferences including IEEE ICMIT, IEEE ICQR, DSI and PICMET.

Dr. Poomporn has also worked closely with various governmental agencies in the areas of project strategic management, risk management and technology management including Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Science and Ministry of Industry. His significant contributions include a Development of Thailand Creative Economy Agency (TCEA) Business Plan, National Creative Business Plan for Ministry of Commerce, The Study of Competitiveness in Service Sector for Department of Business Development, National Creative Business Development Plan, Creative Business Matching between Japanese and Thai Investors, Creative Economy and Thai Education Development Plan and Case Study Development Program for the Office of Civil Service Commission. Furthermore, Dr. Poomporn has been active in consulting service to various private organizations including Thai Management Association, Mitrphol, SCG Group, Kornburi Sugar, CDG Group, CP and True Corporations in the areas of technology and innovation management.

His outstanding publications and research include technology and innovation management in public sector and risk management. He is now playing an active role in pursuing research directions on creative economy, enterprise wide risk management and technology and innovation management in public sector.
